Everyone has intuition, healing capabilities, and innate skills beyond what our physical reality can perceive. This is why I don’t believe so much in “chosen ones.” Each one of us has a mission. Some may need to activate and awaken their intuitive abilities first to lead others, but it doesn’t mean they are at the top or above anyone else.

I often remember what my first mentor and every reliable mentor I have had said: “We are all equals.” No one is above or below anyone else. As I practice more and connect deeper into my higher consciousness, all these become clearer to me. When we look at Jesus and the other ascended masters before us, they never called themselves chosen ones or even labeled themselves anything. They just did the work, teaching and guiding people on their journey called life.

I think as people awaken, spiritual ego also intensifies. There come the labels, but in reality, we are one. We are the same energy carrying different purposes and making different choices.

When I first started embracing the calling, I was scared and doubtful because I felt I didn’t have the skills and abilities to do what I was being asked to do: “to help others realize that they have the power to heal themselves.” My question was, “How do I teach when my knowledge isn’t enough?” Yet I accepted and surrendered. Then my guides just bombarded me with opportunities, experiences, and realizations to learn. I then also came to a bigger eye-opener. It wasn’t just about healing, but the true mission was remembering. My prior message was limited because my wisdom was limited, but the more I tune in to my higher consciousness, the wider my wisdom and language become.

I am writing this because maybe you are someone who is starting to awaken gifts you don’t understand or even gifts beyond your imagination. You are not dreaming. These gifts may have been with you for a long time. They were just dormant. Maybe you have done something good for yourself that raised your vibration enough to activate them. I come here to let you know that there is nothing to fear as long as you anchor yourself to God or to what some call the Divine Source.

If you are someone who is wondering why none of these are happening to you, then maybe you just need to start removing the noise around you. Connect to nature, be in moments of silence, and be in the present moment. Slowly, you may begin to realize that your guides have been speaking to you all along. They are just not heard because everything else is too loud.

This is the reason why I decided to teach and lead more. So people find a safe space where they can be themselves and discover their innate abilities. As we awaken, it can be easy to become attached to our gifts, our experiences, and what we believe we know. I have experienced this myself. Spiritual ego can creep in when we begin to identify with our abilities or believe that our experiences make us more advanced than others. This is why beyond helping my students tap into their power, I always impart with them these four things that they need to remember as they awaken.

Awakening is not a hierarchy.
Developing intuitive abilities does not make someone more valuable than another person. We may awaken to different abilities at different times, but that doesn’t place one person above another.

Your gifts are meant to serve, not separate.
The more I understand my own mission, the more I realize that it is about remembering, not simply healing. Our gifts are not meant to set us apart from others, but to help us serve a purpose greater than ourselves.

We can help others without making ourselves the center of their journey.
People have their own innate capabilities to discover. We are not the main characters in everyone else’s story. Sometimes, our role is simply to help them recognize what has been within them all along.

Humility is power.
Humility is not diminishing yourself. It is knowing your worth without needing to be above anyone else. It reminds us that there is always more to learn, more to understand, and more room to grow. We can acknowledge our gifts without believing they make us superior. We can share our wisdom without assuming we have all the answers. It does not mean denying our abilities or making ourselves smaller. It means recognizing our abilities without forgetting that everyone else has their own worth, purpose, and path.

The more we awaken, the more grounded we should become. After all, the goal is not to become someone who knows everything, but someone who remains willing to learn. Maybe this is what we all need to remember. We don’t have to become someone extraordinary to fulfill our mission. We don’t have to carry a special title, possess abilities that others don’t, or prove that we are more spiritually advanced than anyone else. We simply need to become more aware of what is already within us and learn how to use it in service of something greater than ourselves.

The more we awaken, the more we should recognize our connection to one another, not the distance between us. If our gifts are meant to help others, then perhaps their greatest purpose is not to make us stand out, but to help others discover what they have always carried within themselves.

If the purpose is remembering, then none of us is here to make others believe that we are chosen. We are here to remind one another that we have never been separate from the Divine, and that each of us has a part to play in this beautiful, complicated, and sometimes hilariously confusing journey called life.

Looking back, I've spent most of my youth exploring Science and Math as I tried to educate myself in the field of Engineering. Physics, Chemistry, Quantum Mechanics, Mathematical theories and systems are the language that I am most familiar with. Over time, I slowly distanced myself from these and shifted to learning and understanding more about life.

As I go on with my journey, it was also amusing to see myself revert back to whatever foundation I have - Engineering. This time, correlating everything I learned academically to how life is designed and using it in a more practical manner. So technically, I am still a geek inside with a touch of mysticism to uncover mysteries that science probably hasn't touched yet hehehe..

Whatever my mind explores and remembers, I express through writing so I can always go back to every thought process I may have entertained and at the same time share these thoughts with those who may find science and mysticism interesting.

As expected from me, a strange thought came to me while thinking about the Schrödinger equation.

Quantum tunneling is basically quantum leaping.

OK I admit there are moments when I ramdomly try to revisit equations that bled my brain dry back in college. LOL! I was laughing at how geeky I was when I first thought of it because “quantum leap” has become such a familiar phrase in the world of spirituality and personal transformation. We use it to describe a sudden shift from one version of our lives to another, a moment when something seems to change almost impossibly quickly.

Of course, physicists do not use the phrase in that way. Quantum tunneling is a very specific physical phenomenon. It describes the behavior of quantum systems in which a particle can have a measurable probability of being detected across an energy barrier that, according to classical physics, it does not have enough energy to cross. That is the science.

Now that I maybe have more wisdom to understand, I started thinking about what that actually means. Not in the sense of turning quantum physics into a justification for every spiritual belief we have ever held. I think we need to be careful about that. Science becomes much less interesting when we force it to say things it does not say. What fascinated me was something much simpler.

Quantum mechanics shows us that nature is not obligated to behave according to the limits of our everyday perspective. To me, it opens a much larger conversation about how we understand possibility itself. Science does not have to explain every mystery of existence before it can teach us something about mystery, but one of the gifts of science is that, every now and then, it reminds us just how small our assumptions about reality really are.

The Schrödinger equation is one of the foundational equations of quantum mechanics.

At first glance, it looks like an intimidating collection of symbols, but underneath those symbols is a surprisingly simple question: How does a quantum state change with time? The equation tells us how a quantum state evolves given the energy and conditions of a system. That in itself is already remarkable, then it becomes even more interesting when we ask what the equation predicts.

When physicists solve versions of the Schrödinger equation for actual physical systems, they don’t simply get abstract mathematical answers. They get predictions about atoms, molecules, energy levels, materials, electrons, photons and the behavior of matter. Those predictions can then be tested, and some of them lead directly to technologies sitting in our hands. The phone we carry contains semiconductor technology whose behavior depends on quantum mechanics. Lasers depend on quantum transitions. LEDs depend on semiconductor energy structures. Solar cells depend on quantum interactions between light and matter. Quantum tunneling itself appears in technologies such as scanning tunneling microscopes and in physical processes such as radioactive decay.

So this strange mathematics is not floating somewhere in an ivory tower detached from ordinary life. It is woven into the physical world. We simply don’t notice it because the quantum world is operating underneath the scale at which we normally experience reality.

Most of our everyday perception comes from what physicists call the classical world. If I throw a ball at a wall and it doesn’t have enough energy to get over the wall, it doesn’t magically appear on the other side. If I want to get from one side of a mountain to the other, I have to climb over it, walk around it, or find a tunnel through it. If something is physically blocked, it is blocked. This is such a deeply embedded part of our experience that we rarely question it.

Then quantum mechanics comes along and says, at very small scales, nature does not always behave that way.

Consider a particle approaching an energy barrier. In classical physics, if the particle does not have enough energy to cross the barrier, it cannot cross. In quantum mechanics, the particle is described by a wavefunction. The wavefunction does not necessarily stop abruptly at the barrier. It can extend into the region that would be classically forbidden. If the barrier has the right characteristics, there can be a non-zero probability that the particle will be detected on the other side.

This is quantum tunneling.

The particle hasn’t necessarily gathered enough energy to climb over the barrier. It has not destroyed the barrier. It has not negotiated with the barrier. It has not manifested a door. The quantum description simply gives us a reality in which there is a probability of finding the particle beyond a barrier that classical observation would have treated as impassable. That is a very strange thing to sit with.

Quantum tunneling is not magic. This distinction matters. Quantum tunneling does not mean that a person can think hard enough about something and physically teleport into a different life. The Schrödinger equation does not say that consciousness can simply order reality to produce whatever we imagine.

Quantum mechanics is not a scientific proof of manifestation, but it tells us about what is possible beyond what we believe to be limited. I would actually argue that making that claim diminishes both science and spirituality. Science deserves to be allowed to say what the evidence supports. Spirituality deserves the freedom to explore questions that science may not yet be equipped to answer. The two do not need to impersonate one another.

What fascinates me is what happens when we allow them to stand beside each other. The physics gives us something genuinely useful to contemplate: the limits we perceive are not always the limits of reality. That statement is much more modest than saying “thoughts create things.” This makes the idea more profound. What if the barrier is not the whole story?

Think about how often we interpret our lives through the information currently available to us. We often come up with assumptions based on how limited we are - what we cannot do, what resources we don’t have, what support we can’t get, what experiences we lack, etc.

These statements are accurate assessments of present circumstances, but they are merely assumptions masquerading as facts. There is a difference between saying, there is currently no path that I can see, and saying there is no path. The first is an observation. The second is a conclusion about reality. Unconsciously, we make that conclusion surprisingly often. We tend to mistake the map we currently possess for the entire territory. This is one of the most interesting lessons we can borrow from quantum mechanics without pretending that human life is literally governed by quantum tunneling.

A barrier may be real, but our perception of the barrier may not be the complete description of what is possible.

This is where imagination becomes important. I have always found imagination fascinating because it allows the human mind to experience something before it physically exists. An architect can imagine a building before there is a building. A composer can hear music before anyone else hears it. A writer can see an entire world that exists only as an arrangement of thoughts. An inventor can imagine a machine that has never been built. A child can imagine becoming something long before they have any evidence that they will, and an adult does something equally extraordinary. They imagine a version of themselves that their current circumstances have not yet caught up with. That does not mean the imagined future automatically becomes real.

In the subconscious, something important has already happened. A possibility has entered the field of consideration.

Before the Wright brothers built an airplane, human beings had already imagined flight. Before a person creates a business, there is an idea. Before a home is built, there is a drawing. Before a book is published, there is a sentence in someone’s head. Before a life changes externally, there is often an internal representation of something different. Imagination is therefore not the same thing as manifestation, but imagination can be the beginning of a chain that eventually produces something physical.

That is not quantum physics. It is simply one way human beings transform possibilities into realities. However, the quantum metaphor gives us an interesting language for thinking about the first part of that process. The future does not have to look like the present. One of the most limiting assumptions we can make about our lives is that the future must be a slightly modified version of the present.

If today looks like this, tomorrow will probably look like this. If my circumstances are difficult now, they will probably remain difficult. If I have failed before, I will probably fail again. If I don’t know how to do something today, I probably won’t know how to do it tomorrow.

There is some practical truth in recognizing patterns, but patterns are not destiny. A system can evolve. Conditions can change. New information can enter. A person can learn. A relationship can appear. A door can open. A door can close and reveal that we were walking toward the wrong room anyway. Sometimes the greatest change in a life doesn’t happen because we finally become powerful enough to defeat the obstacle.

It happens because we discover that we were solving the wrong problem.

We thought we needed to climb the mountain, then someone shows us a road around it. We thought we needed to convince the person who kept saying no, then we meet someone who says yes without being convinced. We thought we needed to become someone else, then we realize we needed to stop living according to a version of ourselves that had already expired.

That is what makes the metaphor of quantum tunneling so compelling to me. The “leap” isn’t necessarily about becoming superhuman. It may be about discovering a possibility that was invisible from the framework we were previously using.

There is another detail about quantum tunneling that makes the metaphor even more interesting. The probability of tunneling depends on the characteristics of the barrier. In simplified terms, a thicker or higher barrier makes tunneling less probable, while a thinner or lower barrier makes it more probable. That gives us another useful distinction in life. Not every obstacle should be treated as something we simply need to “believe through.”

Some barriers really are enormous. We need more resources. We need more knowledge, support and time. Sometimes we need to change our environment. Sometimes we need to heal something within ourselves before we can move forward. Sometimes we need to accept that a particular door is not ours to open.

Hope does not require pretending that barriers don’t exist. In fact, mature hope may require looking directly at the barrier and asking, “What can change the conditions around it? If I cannot cross it today, can I make it smaller?” It makes us question what can be done versus just deciding we can’t. That is much more interesting than simply telling ourselves to “manifest harder.”

The deeper philosophical conclusion here is not whether our minds can control quantum particles. It is recognizing how much of our reality exists beyond what we currently perceive. That mystery has followed humanity for thousands of years. Science has repeatedly expanded the boundaries of what we consider real.

There was a time when atoms were philosophical ideas. Then we discovered evidence for them. There was a time when galaxies beyond our own were not known to exist. There was a time when invisible electromagnetic waves sounded like theoretical abstractions. There was a time when no human being had seen a bacterium. There was a time when the existence of planets around other stars was speculation. There was a time when the microscopic world was assumed to behave according to the same intuitive rules that govern billiard balls and falling objects.

Then quantum mechanics arrived. It did not make reality simpler. It made reality stranger. That is one of the most valuable things science can do for us.

It can make us humble.

Most of the time science and spirituality are presented as opposing forces. Science wants evidence while spirituality wants meaning. Science measures while spirituality experiences. Science asks how while spirituality often asks why.

Over time, I realized that these two ideas do not have to compete.

We can ask how a photon interacts with matter while still wondering what it means that the universe contains beings capable of contemplating photons in the first place. We can study the mathematics of consciousness without assuming that mathematics has already answered the mystery of consciousness. We can investigate the brain while still asking why subjective experience exists. We can study the origins of the universe while still allowing ourselves to wonder why there is a universe at all.

Knowing how something works does not necessarily eliminate its mystery. Understanding the mechanism makes the mystery even larger.

A flower does not become less beautiful because we understand photosynthesis. A sunset does not become less meaningful because we understand atmospheric scattering. Love does not become less profound because we understand some of the neurobiology involved in attachment. Understanding mechanism and experiencing meaning are not mutually exclusive.

The same can be true of quantum mechanics.

Which leads us to the idea of the “quantum leap”. This phrase suddenly makes more sense to me. Philosophically, not scientifically.

A quantum leap, in the spiritual language we use today, often means moving from one state of being into another. As I observe it in a different looking glass, most of us have misunderstood what a leap requires.

We often associate a huge transformation with an equally huge amount of effort. More discipline, pushing, forcing, sacrifice or struggle. Over time, I have looked at transformation as something quieter. Transformation happens when we recognize that there can be a different possibility, question or assumption. It is when there is a willingness to imagine a reality that isn’t yet visible, even when it does not guarantee an outcome. It starts with belief because we cannot move toward a possibility that we refuse to consider.

You cannot walk toward a destination that does not exist in your mental map. You cannot build what you cannot first conceive. You cannot ask a different question if you are convinced you already know the answer. You cannot discover a new path while insisting that the old map contains every road.

Imagination is one of the gifts we humans are given to explore what reality could become, not a place where we can escape reality. That distinction matters. Imagination can become a blueprint. The difference is what happens next. The imagined possibility encounters reality. Reality provides feedback so we can adjust, learn, act, fail and try again. We calibrate and do it over until something changes. Then another possibility appears. In that sense, creating a life may be less like commanding the universe and more like participating in an ongoing conversation with it.

It can be a slow journey, sometimes so slow that we don’t notice it happening, yet our physical circumstances begin to resemble something that once existed only inside our minds. We don’t need to claim that human consciousness can collapse reality into whatever outcome we desire.

I am not saying quantum mechanics establishes that thought. I don’t need to say that every spiritual experience is quantum physics. That would be taking a beautiful mystery and putting a scientific costume on it. Quantum tunneling is a physical phenomenon. “Quantum leaping” in personal transformation is a metaphor. Something that can help change the way we see ourselves. It doesn’t need to be literally true to reveal a truth about how we experience life.

What if the impossible is sometimes just the presently unimaginable?

I keep coming back to that question, not because everything is possible. It isn’t.

Reality has laws. Bodies have limits. We die, we get sick. Time matters. Resources matter. Actions have consequences. Some things genuinely cannot happen.

Instead, we can recognize that our personal understanding of what is possible is almost certainly incomplete. We know this because human history is filled with things that were once considered impossible, absurd, impractical or unimaginable. Be careful about confusing your current understanding of reality with reality itself.

We need to remain grounded without becoming closed. It allows science to remain rigorous without becoming arrogant. It allows spirituality to remain meaningful without pretending to be the only truth there is. By doing so, it gives imagination a place that is neither childish nor magical.

Imagination becomes the space where we can ask: What if?

The first quantum leap is not the moment our circumstances change, it is the moment our perception of what is possible changes. Once we can imagine another state, we can begin making different choices. Once we make different choices, we create different conditions. Once the conditions change, different opportunities become available. Eventually, something that existed only as an idea can become something we can touch - a version of ourselves we once couldn’t imagine becoming.

That doesn’t mean we controlled the universe. It means we participated in creating the conditions under which a possibility could become real. That is the part of the quantum metaphor I love most. The particle doesn’t “know” where it is going in the way we imagine knowing. The wavefunction describes possibilities. The system evolves. The conditions matter. What we observe is the result of an interaction between the system and the world in which it exists.

Our lives are not quantum particles, but we are also not static objects. We are living systems, constantly changing through our interactions with people, environments, choices, experiences, beliefs, knowledge and time.

The most useful thing we can take from quantum mechanics is therefore not the promise of supernatural manifestation. It is intellectual humility. The universe is stranger than our thoughts. Reality is deeper than our perception. The absence of a visible path is not necessarily proof that no path exists.

So dream. Imagine. Question. Study. Explore. Test. Act. Then let reality answer you. When reality tells you that the path you imagined doesn’t work, don’t take that as a command to stop imagining. Take it as simply information. Feedback that there is another possibility you haven’t considered yet.

The barrier could be real. Maybe you need more energy to cross it. Maybe you need to go around it. Maybe you need to build a bridge. Maybe you need to change the conditions. Nature itself gives us a reminder that there are ways through reality that our natural instinct never taught us to expect.

Quantum tunneling is basically quantum leaping. OK, are you still with me? 🤣

Not literally neither scientifically.

I guess I’ll leave you with something worth contemplating.

The most important leap we can ever make is the one from “This is impossible,” to “I wonder what else is possible?”

The chakra system is often introduced through the seven major energy centres located along the central axis of the body. These seven chakras provide a familiar map for understanding the relationship between the physical body, emotions, mind, relationships, expression, intuition, and spiritual awareness.

The seven primary chakras can be understood as the principal centres through which we experience embodied life. The higher and transpersonal chakras add another dimension to this embodied journey. These extend the map beyond the physical body, connecting our awareness with the Earth beneath us and with our higher consciousness, the soul, the cosmos, and the Source.

Different Reiki, Hindu, Buddhist, Western esoteric, and contemporary energy-healing traditions use different energy systems, colours, locations, names, and correspondences. The purpose of this model is therefore not to establish one universal system, but to provide a meaningful map for meditation, self-reflection, and spiritual practice.

The thirteen centres can be explored as follows:
1. Earth Star Chakra
2. Root Chakra
3. Sacral Chakra
4. Navel Chakra
5. Solar Plexus Chakra
6. Heart Chakra
7. Higher Heart Chakra
8. Throat Chakra
9. Third Eye Chakra
10. Crown Chakra
11. Causal Chakra
12. Soul Star Chakra
13. Stellar Gateway Chakra

Together, they form a vertical energetic axis that begins beneath the feet and extends beyond the crown.

1. Earth Star Chakra

The Earth Star Chakra is placed approximately six inches, or 15 centimetres, beneath the feet. It is sometimes visualised as black, although some systems associate its activated state with magenta or deep violet. The Earth Star represents our deepest relationship with the Earth. Before reaching toward higher consciousness, there is a need to establish a connection with the ground beneath us. Its symbolism is therefore closely associated with grounding, embodiment, nature, ancestry, renewal, and our experience of physical existence.

The Earth Star can be contemplated as the energetic foundation of the entire energy system. It reminds us that spirituality does not require leaving the physical world behind. We live through a body, within a natural environment, and through the cycles of birth, death, change, and renewal. For those working with the higher chakras, grounding becomes particularly important. Expansion without grounding can sometimes leave a person feeling scattered, disconnected, or overly absorbed in spiritual experience.

The Earth Star offers the opposite movement. It brings awareness downward, toward the Earth and toward the body.

2. Root Chakra

The Root Chakra, or Muladhara, is located at the base of the spine and pelvic floor. Its associated colour is red. It represents our most fundamental relationship with physical life: safety, stability, nourishment, home, belonging, survival, and the ability to inhabit our body.

The Root Chakra is concerned with the question, Can I feel safe enough to be here?

When we are grounded in our physical existence, we have a stronger foundation from which to explore emotional, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions of life. The Root Chakra also reminds us that spiritual development does not eliminate ordinary human needs. Food, shelter, rest, physical movement, financial stability, family, community, and a sense of belonging are all part of an embodied life.

The Root Chakra forms the first major gateway between the Earth Star and the rest of the energetic system.

3. Sacral Chakra

The Sacral Chakra, or Svadhisthana, is located in the lower abdomen and pelvic region. It is commonly associated with orange, although in my practice, I often represent it with a pinkish-orange tone. This centre is associated with emotions, sensuality, creativity, pleasure, relationships, adaptability, and the movement of life force.

Where the Root asks whether we are safe to exist, the Sacral asks whether we are able to experience life.

Creativity belongs here because creativity requires movement. Emotion also belongs here because emotions are not static. They move through us, change, rise, and eventually pass. The Sacral Chakra can therefore be contemplated whenever we are exploring our relationship with pleasure, emotional expression, creative energy, intimacy, or our ability to adapt to change.

4. Navel Chakra

The Navel Chakra occupies the area around the navel, between the Sacral and Solar Plexus centres. It is often represented as golden orange. The navel has held considerable symbolic importance in many Eastern traditions. In Japanese philosophy, for example, the Hara is regarded as an important centre of physical and energetic presence. The Navel Chakra is associated with digestion, assimilation, emotional equilibrium, personal strength, courage, protection, and empowerment.

There is also an interesting physical symbolism here. The digestive system takes what we receive from the outside world and transforms it into something the body can use. In a similar way, the energetic symbolism of the navel concerns our ability to receive experiences, process them, and transform them into usable strength. The navel therefore becomes a place of integration.

It asks: What am I able to take in? What am I able to digest? What do I need to release? What becomes nourishment once I have processed it?

5. Solar Plexus Chakra

The Solar Plexus Chakra, or Manipura, is located in the upper abdomen and is traditionally associated with yellow. It is commonly connected with personal power, confidence, will, discernment, motivation, boundaries, and the capacity to take action. The Solar Plexus represents the development of individuality. We begin to understand that we are not merely responding to the world around us. We possess the ability to make choices, establish boundaries, and direct our lives.

Healthy personal power is different from domination. It does not require control over other people. It is the ability to stand within ourselves and act from conscious choice. In spiritual work, this distinction becomes particularly important. A person can become highly sensitive and intuitive while still struggling to exercise personal authority. The Solar Plexus reminds us that spiritual awareness must eventually become lived choice.

6. Heart Chakra

The Heart Chakra, or Anahata, is located in the centre of the chest and is traditionally associated with green. It represents love, compassion, connection, forgiveness, generosity, and the capacity to experience relationship without losing oneself. The Heart occupies the centre of the seven major chakras and can therefore be viewed symbolically as a bridge between the lower and upper aspects of human experience. Below it are the centres concerned primarily with embodiment, emotion, digestion, identity, and personal power. Above it are expression, intuition, and spiritual awareness.

The Heart brings these dimensions into relationship.

This is why many spiritual traditions place such importance on compassion. Awareness without compassion can become detached. Personal power without compassion can become domination. Spiritual knowledge without compassion can become intellectual rather than transformative.

The Heart gives consciousness a human dimension.

7. Higher Heart Chakra

The Higher Heart Chakra is found in the upper chest, around the region of the thymus, between the Heart and Throat Chakras. Its colour correspondences vary between turquoise, aqua, rose, and soft green. The Higher Heart can be understood as a bridge between the personal Heart and the higher centres of expression and awareness. Where the Heart is associated with love, relationship, compassion, and emotional connection, the Higher Heart represents the expansion of love beyond personal attachment. It is associated symbolically with forgiveness, acceptance, empathy, gratitude, compassion, and a broader sense of connection.

The Higher Heart asks us to consider what happens when love becomes less dependent on whether another person behaves according to our expectations. Can we remain compassionate without abandoning discernment? Can we forgive without denying what happened? Can we love without needing to possess? Can we hold another person’s humanity while still honouring our own boundaries?

In this sense, the Higher Heart does not replace the Heart. It represents a further unfolding of what the Heart already begins. The movement from Heart to Higher Heart can therefore be understood as a movement from experiencing love to embodying compassion. The Higher Heart also creates an important bridge toward the Throat Chakra. What we hold in the Heart and Higher Heart eventually seeks expression. Compassion becomes something we communicate, demonstrate, and live.

8. Throat Chakra

The Throat Chakra, or Vishuddha, is located at the throat and associated with blue. It governs symbolic themes of communication, truth, expression, listening, authenticity, and the ability to give voice to what exists within us.

Expression is more than speaking. It includes the ability to communicate honestly, to listen deeply, to create, to write, to sing, and to allow our inner experience to find an appropriate form in the external world. The Throat Chakra also invites discernment. Speaking one’s truth does not mean saying everything that passes through the mind. Authentic expression requires awareness of timing, intention, responsibility, and the effect of our words. The movement from Heart through Higher Heart to Throat is therefore significant. What we feel must eventually find a conscious way of being expressed.

9. Third Eye Chakra

The Third Eye Chakra, or Ajna, is located between the eyebrows and associated with indigo. It is connected with intuition, perception, imagination, inner vision, discernment, symbolic understanding, and the ability to perceive patterns beyond the immediately visible. The Third Eye is often misunderstood as a centre that simply gives a person psychic abilities. Its deeper symbolism concerns seeing clearly. Intuition without discernment can become projection. Imagination without grounding can become fantasy. Spiritual perception therefore benefits from a stable foundation in the body and a willingness to question what we believe we are seeing.

The Third Eye represents the development of inner perception while retaining the capacity to distinguish insight from assumption.

10. Crown Chakra

The Crown Chakra, or Sahasrara, is located just above the crown of the head and associated with violet, white, or sometimes gold. It represents spiritual awareness, transcendence, contemplation, connection with the divine, and the recognition that consciousness extends beyond the individual personality. The Crown is traditionally regarded as the highest of the seven principal chakras. The Crown signifies that the journey has reached the point where individual consciousness begins opening toward something greater than itself.

11. Causal Chakra

The Causal Chakra is placed approximately three to four inches, or 8 to 10 centimetres, behind the centre of the head. It is associated with white and with qualities of purity, compassion, intuition, creativity, and higher wisdom. The word causal relates to cause and origin. In an esoteric context, the Causal Chakra can therefore be contemplated as a centre concerned with deeper patterns behind our experiences rather than merely the experiences themselves. It represents the movement from reacting to life toward observing the larger pattern.

This is where intuition becomes particularly important. Intuition can allow us to perceive relationships between seemingly unrelated experiences, to recognise patterns, and to understand a situation beyond its immediate details. The Causal Chakra is consequently associated with the capacity to see the larger picture. Rather than asking only, What is happening?, we begin asking, What is this experience showing me?

12. Soul Star Chakra

The Soul Star Chakra is positioned approximately six inches, or 15 centimetres, above the crown of the head. It is commonly visualised as magenta in this particular system. The Soul Star represents the connection between individual consciousness and what many spiritual traditions describe as the soul or higher self. It is sometimes described as a repository of spiritual memory and as a point through which consciousness can access wisdom beyond the ordinary personality.

The concept of the Soul Star invites us to consider an important question: What remains when I look beyond the identity I have constructed in this lifetime?

Our names, occupations, roles, relationships, achievements, disappointments, beliefs, and histories all contribute to our sense of identity. The Soul Star symbolically takes us beyond those layers and toward a larger understanding of self.

13. Stellar Gateway Chakra

The Stellar Gateway is described as the highest chakra, positioned approximately twelve inches, or 30 centimetres, above the crown of the head. It is visualised as gold. The term stellar refers to the stars, while a gateway suggests an opening or passage. Symbolically, therefore, the Stellar Gateway represents a threshold between individual consciousness and the greater cosmos. It signifies the sixth-dimensional centre and is associated with the access to Source, cosmic consciousness, spiritual evolution, and the accumulated wisdom of the soul across lifetimes. The Stellar Gateway represents the furthest expansion of consciousness. At this point, the journey is no longer primarily about understanding the individual self. It becomes an exploration of relationship with something larger than the self.

Activating the Stellar Gateway is also associated with the concept of Oneness.

The Soul Star and Stellar Gateway work together. One connects with the deeper identity of the soul, while the other opens toward the greater field of Source and cosmic consciousness.

The symbolism behind the chakras is one of return. We begin beneath the feet with Earth. We move through the body. We enter the heart. We expand the heart. We develop awareness. We move beyond the personality and eventually, we look toward the stars.

It is tempting to think of the chakras as thirteen separate points that must be opened one by one. I find it more useful to see them as a continuum and balance across all these points. One cannot activate without activating the other, each is interconnected and cannot be seen as separate. Only when all are active and balanced that we can experience wholeness.

The Earth Star grounds us. The Root allows us to inhabit physical life. The Sacral allows us to feel and create. The Navel teaches us to digest and integrate experience. The Solar Plexus develops personal power. The Heart opens us to relationship and compassion. The Higher Heart expands our capacity for unconditional compassion, forgiveness, and acceptance. The Throat gives expression to what lives within. The Third Eye develops perception. The Crown opens toward spiritual awareness. The Causal expands our ability to perceive deeper patterns. The Soul Star connects us with the mystery of the soul. The Stellar Gateway turns consciousness toward Source and the greater cosmos.

Seen this way, spiritual development is not a process of escaping the body in order to reach the heavens. It is a process of becoming increasingly conscious throughout the entire spectrum of existence. The movement is both upward and downward. We reach toward the stars while remaining connected to the Earth.

That balance matters.

There are many ways of working with a chakra system, including meditation, Reiki, breathwork, yoga, sound, visualization, prayer, contemplative practice, and crystal work.

The purpose should not be to force a chakra open. An energetic practice is most useful when approached as an invitation to awareness rather than an attempt to manufacture a particular spiritual experience. If a practice leaves you feeling scattered, excessively activated, detached from your body, frightened, or unable to function normally, stop the practice and return to ordinary grounding activities. Eat, rest, walk, breathe naturally, spend time outdoors, and reconnect with the physical environment. Spiritual practice should ultimately support our ability to live well in the physical world.

Reiki Meditation

For Reiki practitioners, the thirteen chakras can be incorporated into a meditation using the symbols and practices appropriate to one’s level of training. One may begin by connecting with the Higher Self or simply setting an intention for guidance and protection. Then, rather than rushing through the entire system, spend several minutes with each centre.

The following colour sequence may be used as a contemplative visualization:
Earth Star -> Black
Root -> Red
Sacral -> Pinkish orange
Navel -> Golden orange
Solar Plexus -> Yellow
Heart -> Green
Higher Heart -> Turquoise or rose
Throat -> Blue
Third Eye -> Indigo
Crown -> Violet
Causal -> White
Soul Star -> Magenta
Stellar Gateway -> Gold

There is no requirement to see these colours perfectly. Visualization is a practice of attention, not an examination. Simply imagine each centre surrounded or filled with its associated colour. Breathe naturally and allow your attention to rest there. After completing the thirteen centres, bring your awareness back down through the body and finish once again at the feet and Earth Star. This closing movement is important because it returns an expansive meditation to embodied awareness.

Another way to do this is to just allow the energy to flow where it needs to. Reiki energy is intelligent enough to know what the body needs. Let go of control and just let it flow. Become aware of where the energy goes. You may notice colors associated with each of the chakras indicating what is being worked on, activated or balanced.

I would encourage you to recognize your body's openness and capacity to receive what it needs. By doing so, you are allowing yourself to connect better to these centers with more understanding than forcing each to activate without fully embodying what it represents.

Working With Angels and Archangels

In traditions that work with angelic consciousness, each chakra may also be explored through the qualities traditionally associated with particular angels or Archangels. There is no single universal system of angelic correspondences. Different Reiki, angelic, Western esoteric, and contemporary energy-healing traditions may assign different beings to the same chakra. The correspondences below therefore belong to a contemporary symbolic framework rather than a fixed spiritual hierarchy.

The purpose of working with an Archangel is not to force an experience or to assume that an external being must appear. The angelic figure can serve as a focus for contemplation, prayer, intention, and the qualities one wishes to cultivate. The following correspondences can be used as a contemplative map:

A simple practice is to select one centre and spend several days or a week becoming familiar with its symbolism rather than attempting to work with all thirteen at once. Begin by bringing your awareness to the chakra you have chosen. Visualize its associated colour and invite the qualities represented by its corresponding angelic presence.

You might begin with a simple prayer: May the highest wisdom and loving guidance available to me support my understanding of this centre. May I receive only what I am ready to understand, and may I remain grounded, discerning, and present in my body.

You may then sit quietly and observe what arises. There is no need to force an image, hear a voice, or experience something extraordinary. Sometimes spiritual practice is simply learning to become quiet enough to notice what has already been present.

The angelic correspondences can also be approached through sleep meditation. Before resting, one may set an intention for guidance, healing, clarity, or understanding connected with a particular chakra. The practice is ultimately less about seeking supernatural confirmation and more about cultivating the qualities represented by the archetype. To work with Raphael, for example, one might contemplate healing and compassion. With Michael, courage and truthful expression. With Sandalphon, grounding and connection with the Earth. With Metatron, expanded awareness and sacred order. In this way, the Archangel becomes both a spiritual presence and a mirror for qualities we are learning to embody.

Working with Crystals

Crystals are also used in many contemporary energy practices as symbolic tools for meditation, intention, visualization, and ritual. As with angelic correspondences, there is no single universal crystal assigned to each chakra. Different traditions and practitioners work with different stones according to colour, mineral composition, historical symbolism, personal experience, or intuitive association.

The Chakra Journey Is a Journey of Remembering - Grounding Before Ascending

One of the most important principles in working with higher chakras is often overlooked: the higher we reach, the more important grounding becomes. It is easy to become fascinated by the Soul Star, Stellar Gateway, multidimensional consciousness, cosmic wisdom, past lives, angels, guides, and other forms of spiritual experience. Yet consciousness also has to live in a body.

We still have to eat breakfast. We still have relationships to tend. We still have bills to pay, dishes to wash, children to raise, work to complete, difficult conversations to have, and bodies that require sleep and nourishment. A spiritual practice that helps us become less present to our actual lives is worth examining carefully.

The purpose of expanding consciousness is not to become less human. It is to become more fully present to being human. The Earth is not the opposite of the spiritual. It is part of the journey. The body is not something we have to transcend before we can become spiritual. It is where we learn how to embody what we understand.

The most meaningful way to approach the thirteen chakras is not as thirteen switches waiting to be activated, but as thirteen dimensions of awareness that invite us to remember different aspects of ourselves. The Earth Star reminds us that we belong to the Earth. The Root reminds us that we are embodied. The Sacral reminds us that we are capable of feeling and creating. The Navel reminds us that we can transform what life gives us. The Solar Plexus reminds us that we possess agency. The Heart reminds us that we are relational beings. The Higher Heart reminds us that love can expand beyond personal attachment into compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, and a wider sense of connection. The Throat reminds us that our truth needs expression. The Third Eye reminds us to see beyond appearances. The Crown reminds us that consciousness can open beyond the individual self. The Causal reminds us to look for the deeper pattern. The Soul Star reminds us that our identity may be larger than the personality we know and the Stellar Gateway reminds us to look beyond ourselves toward the vast mystery from which all of this arises.

Whether one understands these centres as subtle-energy structures, archetypal symbols, meditation points, or a spiritual map, the invitation remains the same. Become more conscious. Become more grounded. Become more discerning. And allow whatever you discover in the higher realms to become something you can actually embody here on Earth.

That, ultimately, is where the journey becomes real.

There was a time when someone asked me, “If you know how to heal, then how come you still get sick?”

Little did that person know that I actually questioned the same thing when I had my heart attack. I have been supporting my body the best way I can so it is always in its homeostatic condition, and yet here goes a life-threatening event that I myself even questioned my knowledge and credibility over.

Overtime, the answer came to me. I have been advocating to teach people how to unlock their power of self-healing and help them understand that our body is designed to heal itself. For a long time, I have always asked my guides to help me do this effectively with integrity. So what is the best way to do it? Experience healing myself. When I fully understood the assignment, that changed my perspective. Me getting sick isn’t a failure of practice. I need to be able to be in that situation so I fully understand how healing takes place firsthand, not just textbook or curriculum-learned knowledge, but actual experience that goes with it.

I went through not just the physical struggle but also the mental and emotional roller coaster of going through a disease. It showed me how I can be present and be able to hold space for someone going through the same. So whenever I get sick these days, I thank God for giving me a new experience so I can learn more and know more.

When I came to see my mentor today and as she was teaching me new techniques, she mentioned that as healers, we go through experiencing different sicknesses so we know how to treat them. The more we become sick the better we become at understanding the disease. This statement validated everything I have been contemplating about.

A healer who masters their craft isn’t about the lack of disease, but the abundance of experiences getting through those diseases. My heart was one of the proofs that we have the power to heal ourselves if we open ourselves to different ways of supporting it and recognizing that we have control over our health. My experience allowed me to appreciate integrative medicine more than anything.

I think it is about time that we start recognizing all schools of medicine—allopathic, naturopathic, eclectic, and homeopathic medicine. I don’t think we need to pick sides. Each has something different to offer. For me, I have come to see them almost like different layers of support in the healing journey.

Allopathic medicine is great for intervention. When something acute or life-threatening happens, it can intervene, stabilize, and save lives. My own heart attack gave me a profound appreciation for this. Naturopathic medicine helps sustain health. It looks at how we nourish and support the body so that we can maintain health and address the foundations that influence how the body functions. Eclectic Medicine helps rebuild. Its understanding of the vital force recognizes that the body has an inherent capacity to restore balance and health, and that supporting this vital force is an important part of rebuilding the person after illness.

These are not necessarily competing ideas. They can give us different ways of looking at the same human being. This is what we have been missing when it comes to restoring and supporting our health. We have become accustomed to putting everything into separate boxes and then asking which box is correct. So I ask you, why do we have to choose? Why can’t we recognize that there are different ways of supporting the body at different stages and levels of the healing journey?

My heart attack made this very real for me. I needed intervention, modern medicine supported me in that moment when my body is about to fail and collapse. I needed my body to be supported through recovery, non-conventional healing helped me through this. I needed to rebuild, I worked with energy healing to support areas of my body that modern medicine couldn't cover. Through this experience, I came to appreciate the more subtle aspects of healing and the relationship between the physical, mental, emotional and energetic aspects of myself. It allowed me to see the value of having more than one lens. It also made me realize that the body is not simply a machine waiting for someone to fix it. Our body is constantly working toward balance and health, it just needs support so it has the proper environment and capacity to do it.

So when I work on my clients, I don't check what can be wrong with the person. Instead, I try to understand What the body is doing to heal itself, and how can we support it. That changed the way I see health. Getting sick is no longer something I see as a contradiction to what I teach. It has become part of my education. Every illness gives me another experience of what it means to be human, to be vulnerable, to receive care, to recover, and to support the body through the process. This is what makes a healer better at holding space for another person because we have experienced what it means to heal.

So whenever I get sick these days, I thank God for the experience. I know it is a signal that there is something more for me to learn. A healer who masters their craft isn’t about the lack of disease. It is the abundance of experiences in understanding how the body moves through disease and back toward health. Our own body becomes our greatest teacher.

I almost didn’t want to play. I only came when my friend Rachel invited us because I wanted to spend time with the girls. We hadn’t seen each other for more than a year, and that was reason enough for me to come. The game itself was really just the activity around which we would gather. Since I had also been losing interest in board games lately, somewhere in my mind, I had already decided that I might get bored easily.

Then I found out that I was going to have to write things down so that also terrified me a little. Anyone who knows personality profiling will understand when I say there is very little green in my personality. 😂 I am not naturally drawn to sitting down, recording things, keeping track of details, and methodically working through information. I would much rather feel my way through something and figure it out as I go. I wasn’t expecting much from the game but what I didn’t expect was to find myself becoming completely absorbed in it.

The Wealth & Joy Simulation takes you through different stages of life. You earn money, spend it, invest, make decisions, encounter opportunities and unexpected events, and experience the consequences of the choices you make along the way. There are moments when things seem to be flowing beautifully, and there are moments when something happens that changes the direction of the game. It sounds simple enough. As I immerse deeper in the game, I realized that between playing and laughing with friends, I began to notice that I wasn’t just playing a game about money. I was actually watching and observing myself and my patterns.

One of the first things I noticed was how useful it was to actually write things down. The part I initially dreaded turned out to be one of the things I appreciated most. When everything is in your head, it can feel like you have a lot or like you don’t have enough. Once you put it on paper, things become clearer. You can see what you have. You can see what is missing. You can compare your options. Decisions become easier. It made me think about how often we do the same thing in life. We carry our plans, resources, responsibilities, dreams, and worries around in our heads and then wonder why everything feels complicated and overwhelming when we simply need to see it.

The game also happened to resonate with the particular flow of my life at the moment. For the most part, things were moving quite smoothly for me. I was getting good turns and making decisions that seemed to take me closer to where I wanted to go. There were little temptations and diversions along the way but nothing dramatic. I am getting just enough to make me pause and consider whether I wanted to spend my time, money, or energy on something that wasn’t really part of the bigger picture. That was interesting to notice. I realized that if I remain focused on what actually matters to me, and don’t allow myself to be easily swayed by every distraction that appears along the way, getting into my own version of “V-flow” can actually be quite simple.

I realized that in life, the challenge isn’t always knowing where we want to go. Usually the more challenging thing is resisting everything that invites us to go somewhere else.

While I was having what felt like a fairly good run, I was also watching the other players and this was where the game became unexpectedly emotional for me. I witnessed some of my friends go through what the game calls an S-flow. I didn’t personally experience the same thing, but I could feel the sudden drop in emotion when it happened to them. It is difficult to explain unless you are actually sitting around the table with other people. I didn’t just watch what happens to them. I also felt it. At least I did. My empath heart immediately responded to the changes in the room. I could feel the fear, the disappointment, the uncertainty. Even though it wasn’t happening to me, some part of me experienced the emotional shift with them.

It reminded me that we often forget when we are focused on our own lives: everyone is going through something. Someone can appear to be doing beautifully while quietly dealing with a setback we know nothing about. There are times when we are the ones who need to learn how to stay steady while someone beside us is going through theirs. Interestingly, even when I was having good turns, fear was still present. I found myself thinking twice about some of my decisions, not necessarily because things were going badly, but because the possibility that things could suddenly change was always there. That, too, felt very much like life.

We can be doing everything “right” and still encounter something unexpected. We can be careful with our choices, build our resources, stay focused on our goals, and create a life that feels stable and still experience a setback. There is also a time when another player pulled a card that created a group S-flow. I hadn’t even experienced the setback myself, but somehow it affected the direction of my own game. It pulled me back from some of the goals I had been moving toward. I began thinking, "Ah. So this is part of it too."

Life doesn’t only happen to us individually. Other people’s circumstances, collective events, changes in the environment, things completely outside our control can also affect the lives we have carefully built. We can prepare, but we cannot control everything.

Which brings me to what may have been one of my biggest realizations from the game. Energy matters. You can have money, resources and opportunities. You can even have a beautifully planned life but when your energy runs out, none of those things matter in quite the same way. There is something humbling about seeing that represented in a game. It lead me back to when I was consuming and directing my energy to people and things that do not matter which depleted my heart. Usually that reality is painful. We often treat energy as though it is an unlimited resource. We spend it on work, on obligations, on people, on worry, on things that don’t really matter, and on distractions that seemed important in the moment. Then at the end of the day, we wonder why we no longer have the energy to enjoy the life we worked so hard to create. The game brought that idea into a very tangible space.

It made me think about wealth differently. Wealth isn’t simply the amount of money we accumulate. It is also our capacity to experience and enjoy the life that money is supposed to support. What good is having more if you have no energy left to enjoy it? What good are opportunities if you are too exhausted to take them? What good is reaching a goal if you have depleted yourself completely along the way?

This is why I think this game can be especially meaningful for children. Kids are already learning about money, whether we consciously teach them or not. They watch how adults spend. They hear conversations about what the family can or cannot afford. They learn what is considered important. They experience wanting something and having to wait for it. There are some concepts that are difficult to explain through lectures. A game can make them visible. Through play, children can experience what happens when they spend everything, when they save, when they take a risk, when they make a choice because they are tempted, when something unexpected happens, and when they suddenly realize that they don’t have enough resources for what they want. Through the game, they can begin to see that money is connected to choices. And choices are connected to the kind of life we create.

I came into the game expecting to spend an afternoon with my friends. I left thinking about my own life. I thought about where my focus goes, the distractions I entertain and my fears. I started thinking about how quickly circumstances can change, how other people’s experiences can affect us, the importance of preparing for setbacks and writing things down so we can actually see what we have and what we need.

The game made me value energy more than I already do. I have learned this a long time ago, but playing the game reinforced that energy is the one resource we often forget to include when we calculate the cost of a life we want.

Don't get me wrong, the game may give one so much profound insignts but it isn't a so serious game since we also laughed a lot especially when we are about to make questionable decisions hehehe. I think it is a good balance of having fun and also learning about how we live our lives. We celebrated good turns and felt the sting of bad ones. We watched each other navigate choices and consequences. After not seeing one another for more than a year, perhaps that was the greatest gift of the afternoon: we were sitting around the same table again.

This made me strongly believe that the most meaningful learning doesn’t happen in a classroom. Most of the time, it happens around a table with people you love, while everyone is trying to figure out what to do with the cards they’ve been dealt. This is what I liked most about the Wealth & Joy Simulation Game.

The game didn't tell me what kind of life I should want. Instead, it gave me a chance to see what my choices can create.

I can especially see its value for families and young people who are beginning to form their own understanding of money, choices, and what it means to build a life that is not only financially abundant, but also full of joy.

Tai Sui is one of the most commonly discussed concepts in Chinese metaphysics, yet it is also one of the most misunderstood.

It is often introduced through warnings: who will offend Tai Sui, who will clash with it, which directions should be avoided, and what protective measures should be taken. This can make a traditional metaphysical system appear much more frightening than it was intended to be. A more useful way to understand Tai Sui is as a relationship between the individual and the energetic pattern of the year. When that relationship is strong, it tells us where greater awareness may be useful. It does not determine what will happen to us.

2027 is the year of Ding Wei (丁未), the Fire Goat. In the Chinese sexagenary cycle, Ding represents Yin Fire and Wei represents the Goat. The annual Earthly Branch, Wei, is therefore the primary reference point when examining the year's Tai Sui relationships. This guide explains the traditional Tai Sui framework for 2027 and translates it into practical guidance. It is intended for both those who are new to Chinese metaphysics and those who already work with Feng Shui, BaZi, or other Chinese metaphysical systems. The intention is simple - understand the energy, prepare wisely and remain responsible for your choices.

For those whose zodiac signs have a significant relationship with Tai Sui in 2027, this is not a reason to fear the year. It is an invitation to participate in it more consciously. A challenging annual relationship may bring movement, responsibility, adjustment, or situations that require greater attention. It may also create opportunities for growth that would not otherwise arise. The purpose of metaphysics is not to remove our agency. Tai Sui, commonly translated as the Grand Duke, refers to the annual governing influence associated with the Earthly Branch of the year. Chinese metaphysics uses twelve Earthly Branches, each associated with an animal: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. These twelve branches form part of the sixty-year Stem-Branch cycle used in traditional Chinese calendrical systems. Every year therefore has a particular combination of Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch.

2027 is: 丁未 — Ding Wei
- Ding: Yin Fire
- Wei: Goat
- Annual zodiac: Goat
- Annual branch: Wei

In traditional practice, each annual branch has an associated Tai Sui. The Tai Sui is also personified as a celestial general or deity, and people may choose to honour that year's Tai Sui through temple rituals, offerings, prayers, or other traditional practices. The important point is that Tai Sui is not a prediction of events. It is a framework for understanding how the annual branch interacts with the branches in an individual's natal chart.

The phrase “offending Tai Sui” is a translation of the Chinese concept Fan Tai Sui (犯太岁). The word “offend” can make the concept sound personal or punitive. It is more useful to understand Fan Tai Sui as describing a significant relationship between a person's natal Earthly Branch and the annual Earthly Branch. Different relationships carry different traditional meanings. They do not all represent the same type of experience, and none of them should automatically be interpreted as bad.

The major relationships relevant to 2027 are:
- Zhi Tai Sui (值太岁) — the same branch as the year
- Chong Tai Sui (冲太岁) — direct clash
- Xing Tai Sui (刑太岁) — punishment or friction

The Ox and Goat are opposite Earthly Branches. he traditional term for this relationship is Chong, or clash. Clash is often misunderstood as a prediction of conflict or misfortune. In Chinese metaphysics, however, Chong fundamentally represents movement and change. For the Ox, 2027 may therefore bring greater movement in areas such as career, residence, relationships, travel, family responsibilities, or long-term plans. Some changes may be voluntary. Others may occur because circumstances require adaptation. The important principle is not to resist change simply because it was unexpected.

Clash can create movement where stagnation has existed. A person who has been considering a career change may finally take action. A long-delayed move may finally happen. An outdated arrangement may become impossible to maintain.

Prepare rather than fear. Build time buffers into important plans. Maintain financial reserves. Review contracts and commitments. Allow flexibility in travel and major projects. If change becomes necessary, evaluate it carefully instead of assuming that change itself is negative. For the Ox, the lesson of 2027 is: Move consciously rather than being forced to move through lack of preparation.

The Dog has a traditional Xing, or punishment, relationship with the Goat within the Earthly Branch system. The word punishment can sound severe. In metaphysical interpretation, Xing is more appropriately understood through themes of pressure, obligations, boundaries, friction, and unresolved matters. The Dog may find that situations requiring greater accountability become more visible in 2027. This could involve work responsibilities, family obligations, legal or administrative matters, financial commitments, or interpersonal boundaries.

Pressure can reveal what needs to be corrected. A responsibility that has been avoided may need to be addressed. An unhealthy boundary may need to be established. A poorly structured agreement may need to be revised.

Keep records. Clarify responsibilities. Review financial and contractual obligations. Address disagreements early. Do not allow resentment to accumulate. The Dog does not need to spend the year anticipating conflict. Instead, 2027 can be used to strengthen structures that support long-term stability.

The Rat forms a Hai, or Harm, relationship with the Goat. Hai is generally more subtle than Chong. It can be associated with misunderstandings, indirect friction, unclear expectations, misplaced trust, or situations where something appears minor but gradually becomes complicated. This does not mean that Rat individuals should become suspicious of everyone around them. In fact, excessive suspicion would be the wrong response.

Hai encourages greater discernment. It asks us to pay attention to what is being communicated, what is not being communicated, and whether assumptions are replacing clarity.

Confirm important information. Clarify agreements. Do not rely on assumptions when expectations matter. Be thoughtful about what personal information is shared and with whom. Address misunderstandings early. For the Rat, the most useful response to Hai Tai Sui is clarity rather than suspicion.

The Dragon has a traditional Po, or Break, relationship with the Goat. Po can indicate disruption, separation, or the weakening of an existing structure. Again, this should not automatically be interpreted as loss. Sometimes a structure breaks because it was already no longer sustainable. A change in employment may lead to a better direction. A relationship may need to be redefined. An old business model may need to be replaced. A long-held belief may no longer reflect the person who has become.

Po can create space for reconstruction. The question is not simply, “What might I lose?” You can also ask yourself: “What can now be rebuilt differently?”

Review long-term commitments. Do not force arrangements that have clearly stopped functioning. Allow time to evaluate changes before responding emotionally. The Horse and Goat form Liu He, or Six Harmony. This is traditionally associated with cooperation, partnership, support, and relationship-building. For the Horse, 2027 can be a useful year for collaboration. The key is to choose partnerships carefully and avoid accepting every opportunity simply because it appears supportive.

The Rabbit belongs to the Hai-Mao-Wei San He, or Three Harmony relationship involving the Pig, Rabbit, and Goat. This provides a supportive connection with the annual Goat. Rabbit individuals can benefit from collaboration, learning, creativity, and gradual development. The emphasis is on steady progress rather than rushing results.

The Pig also belongs to the Goat's Three Harmony configuration. This can support relationships, learning, creative development, family matters, and collaborative projects. The Pig should nevertheless maintain discernment and avoid giving so much to others that personal resources become depleted.

The Tiger, Snake, Monkey, and Rooster do not form one of the principal direct Tai Sui relationships with the Goat in 2027. This provides a relatively neutral annual relationship from the perspective of the zodiac branch alone. Neutral does not mean inactive. A person's complete BaZi chart may contain other relationships with the annual Stem and Branch, and the Ten-Year Luck Pillar may also significantly modify the year's influence. A zodiac sign represents only one part of a person's Chinese metaphysical chart. In BaZi, the birth chart contains four pillars: Year, Month, Day, and Hour. Each pillar contains a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch. This means the 2027 Goat can interact with more than the animal associated with the year of birth. For example, a person may not be born in a Goat year but may have a Goat branch in their Month, Day, or Hour Pillar. The annual Ding Fire can also interact with the Heavenly Stems in the natal chart. The individual's Ten-Year Luck Pillar provides another layer of interpretation. This is why two people born in the same zodiac year can experience the same Tai Sui year very differently. The zodiac animal gives us a broad annual reference. It does not provide the complete forecast.

The Do's for 2027

Keep commitments manageable.
A year with strong annual interaction can bring increased activity. Do not create unnecessary pressure by accepting everything.

Contracts, responsibilities, deadlines, financial arrangements, and professional agreements should be clear.

Maintain financial resilience.
Keep reasonable reserves and avoid unnecessary financial exposure.

Take care of the body.
Adequate rest, appropriate movement, regular health care, and sustainable routines support the ability to respond well to change.

Ask questions. Confirm information. Resolve misunderstandings early.

Keep the home functional.
Declutter, repair what needs repairing, and maintain the spaces you use regularly.

Practise generosity.

Use traditional remedies consciously.
If temple visits, Tai Sui rituals, talismans, prayers, or other traditional practices are part of your belief system, they can be incorporated as forms of respect and spiritual alignment.

The Don'ts for 2027

Do not make decisions from fear.
A Tai Sui relationship does not mean that something bad is destined to happen.

Do not interpret every inconvenience as Tai Sui.
Ordinary life continues to contain delays, disagreements, mistakes, and unexpected events. Metaphysics should improve discernment, not create anxiety.

Do not overcommit.
More activity does not automatically mean more opportunity. Protect your time and energy.

Do not ignore important responsibilities.
Deal with administrative, financial, professional, and relationship matters before they become larger issues.

Do not undertake unnecessary major disturbance in Tai Sui sectors.
In 2027, the traditional Tai Sui sector is the Southwest, with Northeast as the opposing Sui Po sector. Major construction or renovation in these areas should be considered carefully.

Do not become dependent on protective objects.
Talismans and auspicious objects are part of traditional practice, but they should complement responsible action rather than replace it.

The Southwest and Northeast in 2027

The annual Tai Sui direction for the Goat year is traditionally associated with the Southwest. The opposite direction is the Northeast, known as Sui Po or the Year Breaker. Traditional Feng Shui practice advises against unnecessary major disturbance in these sectors, particularly activities such as demolition, excavation, drilling, and extensive structural renovation. This does not mean that the Southwest and Northeast must be avoided. Normal use of these areas is not automatically problematic. If your bedroom, office, entrance, or another important room happens to be located in one of these sectors, this does not mean you need to abandon the space. The broader Feng Shui configuration of the property should always be considered. Annual Tai Sui is one layer of Feng Shui, not the entire system.

For people who follow Chinese religious or metaphysical traditions, paying respects to Tai Sui is a longstanding practice. This may involve visiting a temple, offering incense, making prayers, registering for an annual Tai Sui ceremony, or receiving a traditional talisman. Practices differ between temples and lineages. These practices should be understood as acts of acknowledgement and harmonisation, rather than transactions designed to prevent bad luck. There is also no requirement for someone who does not follow these traditions to perform a ritual simply because their zodiac sign has a Tai Sui relationship. The most important form of harmonisation remains personal conduct. Integrity, responsibility, generosity, restraint, and respect are themselves meaningful metaphysical practices.

Regardless of zodiac sign, the following approach can be used throughout 2027. Look at the areas of life that require greater attention. Reduce unnecessary commitments. Create reasonable financial, time, and logistical buffers. Clarify expectations instead of relying on assumptions. When circumstances change, evaluate the new situation rather than automatically resisting it. Metaphysical awareness does not replace practical responsibility. Cultivate generosity through service, support, and contribution. Use changes and challenges as information about what needs to be strengthened, released, or redirected.

The most important principle of Tai Sui is not protection. It is awareness. If your zodiac sign is directly affected by Tai Sui in 2027, that information does not mean that you have been given a difficult fate. It means that the relationship between your natal branch and the annual branch is strong enough to deserve attention. That attention can become preparation. Tai Sui is not a curse nor a guarantee of misfortune. It does not remove personal choice or free will. It does not mean that people with an affected zodiac sign should stop travelling, starting businesses, changing careers, moving homes, entering relationships, or pursuing meaningful goals. It means that the annual energy has a particular relationship with the individual's natal energy. That relationship can be studied, be respected, be navigated and be used as an opportunity for greater self-awareness.

For those directly affected in 2027, the most useful question is therefore not: “What bad thing is going to happen to me?” A better question is: “What is this year's energy asking me to become more conscious of?” That question puts responsibility back where it belongs: with the individual.
