Tea Time with Miyo

Welcome to my little corner of the internet—where heart talks, soul giggles, and curious minds gather. I started this blog to share snippets of my life: the magical, the messy, the mundane, and everything in between.

Think of this space as a cozy chat over tea, where we can daydream, dive deep, and laugh about the wild ride of being human.

So grab a comfy seat, bring your whole self, and let’s journey together—one beautiful, weird, wonderful moment at a time.

I just sharing a powerful insight I had few months ago about the true meaning of the Holy Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While "the Son" has traditionally been associated with Jesus Christ, it actually represents each one of us.

Celestial Harmony Meditation - 12

Jesus came to earth to show us the path back to the Divine Source through his life. We are not saved simply because he was crucified; we are saved because he showed us the way. When we dedicate our lives to living as he did—embodying his teachings and making them part of our daily existence—we align ourselves with our true home: heaven.

When Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life," he wasn’t asking us to simply worship him, but to live by the principles he taught. Like other ascended masters, he came to illuminate the path for us. We are all part of the Holy Trinity. God is within each of us, and through the Holy Spirit—the divine energy that flows through all things—we reconnect with God, our true source.

Wishing you all a beautiful and transformative eclipse week!

Is he draining your energy?
You might not notice it at first, but over time, being in a relationship where your energy is constantly being taken can leave you feeling drained, tired, and even disconnected from your own sense of beauty and power. You used to be glowing—your energy so vibrant, your beauty so radiant. Then you accepted someone in your life. Now you are worn out, your light dimmed, your spirit heavy.

If this feels familiar, it’s time to ask yourself: "Is he draining my energy to fill his own empty cup?"

When a man’s masculine energy is wounded or imbalanced, he might unknowingly pull from your feminine energy to feel whole. At first, it might feel like you’re supporting him, but over time, you notice that you’re the one feeling depleted, while he still seems unsatisfied.

Here are some signs it might be happening:
🌸You feel more tired or drained around him
🌸 You feel constantly giving - emotionally, mentally, or physically
🌸Your sense of self is diminishing by starting to lose touch with your own joy, creativity, or even your physical beauty
🌸You’re not the person you used to be - you used to be vibrant, confident, and alive, but now you’re feeling lost, disconnected, and unsure of yourself

What can you do if this is happening?
☀️Reclaim your energy: The first step is to acknowledge what’s happening and take action to restore your balance.
☀️Set boundaries—emotionally, mentally, and physically—to protect your energy.
☀️Stop over-giving: It’s important to recognize that it’s not your job to fix him or constantly give to make him feel whole. You have to take care of yourself first. Start asking for what you need and allow yourself to receive.
☀️Tune back into your feminine energy: Reconnect with what makes you feel alive—whether it’s through creativity, self-care, spending time in nature, or practicing mindfulness. Rediscover what brings you joy and passion, and make time for these things without guilt.
☀️Consider the relationship: Sometimes, if a man is unwilling to address his own imbalances or continues to drain you despite your efforts to set boundaries, you might need to reevaluate the relationship. Your energy and well-being matter.
☀️Seek support: Whether through trusted friends, a coach, or a therapist, it’s important to have people around you who can help you navigate this dynamic and support your journey back to yourself.

Remember, you are worthy of love that nourishes, not depletes. Your energy, your beauty, and your power are yours to protect and cultivate. Don’t allow anyone to take that from you.

Take care of yourself first. Your radiance deserves to stay shining. 🌸

As a Reiki Master Teacher, I've had moments of doubt with my abilities to effectively channel and teach the Reiki system when I was just starting. It's common to question ourselves when stepping into the role of a healer or teacher. However, my master in Turkey shared with me a profound message, when I brought up to his attention my concerns, that spoke to these uncertainties in a way that goes beyond Reiki and touches on life itself. It felt deeply aligned not just with my personal journey but also with a universal truth that applies to all of us.

Celestial Harmony Meditation - 10

Here’s the message that struck me as so powerful:
"We, Reiki practitioners, masters and teachers are simply channels for the Reiki energy. Being a clear channel requires developing skills of letting go, no expectancy and trusting your intuition. Never try to control anything, not just in Reiki, but in your life since Reiki is life. Gokai is not a detail but a guide for your life.

You simply do your exercises, give treatments and share Reiki with others, without trying to control anything, without expecting anything. Just trust your intuition. If you do, you will achieve whatever you are meant to achieve without trying to achieve anything. Do not make comparisons. Do not try to measure or rate anything. Just relax and engage in your practices joyfully.

This is the only way to develop energetically. One day, when you are matured energetically enough, you will know this. Yet, do not check if you are developing, if you are growing. The more you check, the less you will develop; but the more you relax and let it go, the more you will grow."

At first, this message was a gentle reminder for me to trust my intuition as I continue my journey with Reiki. Yet, as I sat with it and practiced the system over the years, I realized its deeper resonance for life as a whole. Often, we get caught up in trying to control outcomes, measuring our progress, or comparing ourselves to others. We lose sight of the present moment, which is where true growth and alignment happen.

This wisdom is not limited to those practicing Reiki but can serve as a gentle guide for anyone striving for ease and grace in life. Whether you are on a spiritual path or navigating the everyday challenges of life, remember this: Trust your journey. Let go of the need to control outcomes. Engage in what brings you joy without the pressure of expectations. In doing so, you align with your natural flow, and life unfolds with grace.

May this message inspire you to let go, trust, and find peace in simply being present, allowing life to develop in its own perfect timing. The more we relax, release, and embrace what is, the more we open ourselves to growth and ease in every aspect of our lives.

About me

About Me

Hello I am Cherry Ang but you can call me Miyo —and I’ve been blogging since 2007.

What started as a space to share my love for makeup and beauty has slowly, naturally, evolved into something deeper—something more reflective of who I’ve become.

Back then, I wrote about colors, textures, and finding confidence through creativity. Over the years, as life offered more lessons, more beauty (and sometimes more chaos), I began writing less about the surface and more about the soul. And in 2021, I felt the call to return to blogging—not just as a hobby, but as a way to offer something real, nourishing, and resonant.

This blog is where I share personal stories, reflections, energy insights, and the things I’m still learning. It’s a space for the sensitive, the curious, the deep-feeling hearts—those who want to explore the magic of everyday life through presence, ritual, and gentle remembrance of who we really are.

I work with tools like Reiki, angelic energy, essential oils, Gong Fu Cha and subtle spiritual practices that support emotional clarity, energetic protection, and soul-level alignment. I also share guided meditations, printable rituals, and customized healing tools for those who want to go deeper.

But at the core, I’m still that same writer—hoping that in sharing my experiences, I might inspire someone else to feel seen, safe, and reminded of their own light.

Thanks for being here. Whether you’re reading one post or walking alongside me for a while—I’m honored to share this space with you.
